This past weekend was a terrific one. Isn't that the best? When you have a phenomenol weekend and you can start off the week smiling :) I love when this perfectly delightful occasion occurs, and this past weekend was one of those times. 
What made it so magical, I think it was the combination of great friends, great fun and a dash of being at the right place at the right time. Friday night, I brought some of my girls out to support my friend, Carlos, who DJ'ed in the east village at Angels & Kings (for those of you who haven't been, it's owned by Pete Wentz of the band Fall Out Boy). We weren't even there 15 minutes when Pete Wentz himself entered, followed sh
ortly after by wife, Ashlee Simpson and her sister, Jessica. So, we got to party right next to the VIP table and even got to sh

Fast forward to Sunday (an especially chilly day), I made a trip to Max Fish in the Soho. Every first Sunday of the month, the bar allows young designers to sell their wares and they even offer a $3 wine happy hour until 9 pm! (a little red vino was the perfect solution to the frosty winter chilliness of the afternoon ;) 
It was here I came across Jeni Jaques, designer of the line 'Harlow in Chains', a brilliant blend of stylish, vintage jewelry she personally reworks into edgy, romantic pieces. Every item has quirky and colorful concept to it and Jeni has a vibrant personality to match! Check out her stuff at
