So last night was one of those super warm, sticky, humid summer evenings that make the city of New York pretty irate, and despite our rickety little A.C. our apartment was still comparable to the inside of a volcano.
Then at about 9:45, one of my best friend's called me from the bar across the street from my apartment and convinced me to join her for a drink. I figured "one drink can't hurt" and met up with her; two strong cosmos and a Key Lime shot later I stumbled giddily up the stairs to my apartment.
Needless to say this morning I was moving at a slightly less than giddy pace. I decided to go with the cheeseburger shirt. It looks like it's going to be a Gatorade (Lemon-Lime, of course) and B.E.& C. (bacon, egg & cheese aka "the breakfast of champions") morning...can someone pass me the pain killers?lol

- Gray tweed mini (Goodwill...$5.99)
- "Xtra cheesey, just say pleasey!" Cheeseburger tee (Forever 21...$10.80)
- Slouchy cream open sweater (Goodwill)
- Brown mini wedge sling-backs (Payless...$16...eons old, but worn in with love:)
Later: Went out for sushi & cocktails with my girl, Kara. She found this jacket for next to nothing but wasn't sure about the style. We contemplated the ornate frayed sleeves but felt they were too much. It was good material but the construction was lacking. I convinced her to let me have at 'em and I snipped off the arms and turned it into a rockin' vest...it just took a little liquid courage, sharp scissors and patience! Kind of wish I'd taken a pic beforehand so you could see the transformation...whatdyathink? ;)
