Our NYC November Reggae-Caribbean Party

This past weekend, 'The Committee Who Plans Parties' (aka Neil, Chris and myself) decided to go against the grain and host a Reggae-Caribbean themed party with Hawaiian shirts, leis, summer music- the whole lot! The party was a huge success :) It was a fantastic night with great fun, great friends and great memories! The Committe will be sure to discuss the option of another party in the very near future. Here are just a few pics from the evening...

Since we were going with a tropical theme, I opted to wear this sassy dress from H&M that I simply Love,Love Love with a capital "L"! It's so bright and vibrant it just instantly makes me happy. The kick-ass neon parrot also doesn't hurt ;)

Also, I took the liberty of helping the boys get ready by racing out to the Salvation Army where I found these ultra perfect shirts for the evening. They completely looked the part and Chris even mentioned that he might be sporting it out on the town for non-caribbean themed functions as well. I guess that means I did okay :]

I would also like to give a huge thanks to Kendra (who tirelessly helped me in the kitchen preparing our party fare), Jessica (who helped me turn nine boxes of jello into mini little treats for all), Chris for letting us use his amazing bachelor pad to house a room full of rockin' people and everyone else who came out to the party and helped to make it the great success that it was!!! :D You guys sparkle like Crest and everyone looked smashing!!!!
