It's Wednesday and I'm at the mid-week point, which only brings me that much closer to the weekend ;) The weather is suposed to be a high of 70's today and there was no way I was going to go out on this amazing day in anything less than a rock-tastic skirt and some killer heels. I am really into playing up the feminine figure (this is where the sassy pencil skirt comes in), while adding the mix of different proportions ( the looser, blousiness of the shirt...which also adds an edge, I think) and creating off-beat dimensions (the punchy, playful color of the shoes and the slick design of the belt stream-lining the waist). It's going to be a pretty okay day :) - Gray pencil skirt (Bitten by Steve & Barry...$15...and worth every amazing penny!!!)

- Black cinch-waist double sided belt (One of the fiercest belts I own!!!...San Fran...$7)
- Bergundy heels (Payless...$19...surprisingly comfortable for the edgy height!!!)
- "Brunette" necklace (Forever 21...$5.50...because name plate necklaces are soooo 1996)
- Blue bead necklace (Claire's or some store of that nature from way back when I was in high school!!!)
