What's worse than Monday mornings? Rainy Monday mornings! Booooo :( It was a bit chilly outside today, so I opted for roasty toasty layers and rich colors to enhance my mood. On Monday night's right after work I head over to the wonderful land of Astoria to attend the weekly writer's workshop that my good friend, Kara, runs. I also wanted to wear an outfit that would "travel" well considering the fact that Monday's are my "nomad" day.I've been a real fan of layering lately so that depending on which way the weather goes, I am always comfortable. My tan tunic is one of my favorites. I picked it up at a thrift store about a year ago and only now have I really begin to give it the attention and love it deserves :) Underneath I wore my deep mauve sweater minidress and my go-to black leggings :P Throw on some necklaces and voila! And I'm out the door...
- Black leggings (Strawberry... you can't tell but they are slowly approaching the end of their life)
- Wine-colored sweater minidress (H&M)
- Tan knit sweater tunic (thrift store...one of my rpoudest finds!)
- Black flat knee-high boots (thrifted and gifted, from my super cool Mom :)
- Layered necklaces (Forever 21)
- Jelly bracelts looped for "knotted" look (my staple wrist pieces)
