Friday night has arrived and to top it off it's Valentine's Day weekend!!! YAY :D And for those of you who despise Valentine's Day and view it only as a commercial holiday, it's also the start of a long weekend! YAY :D (Thank you, President's Day.)
Tonight I attended a good friend's birthday party at Madame X down on Houston. It was the perfect loungy setting for a great night. Plush, Victorian couches in a living room style setting with a slightly edgy Amsterdam Bordello feel, all while the DJ spins some excellent tunes. Very posh, very fun ;)
I wanted to be sophisticate-chic with an edge. This purple draped open-back tunic always adds a slightly dramatic flair to any ensemble. Add some chunky silver jewelry and some black skinny pants and you've got an outfit that allows movement but can stand on its own. Next, add this streamlined gold button pin-stripe blazer and that's just the cherry on top of a lovely outfit :)
