Fashion Fix Fridays

 So I was talking to my good friend, Kara, who was feeling a little bit disgruntled because her absolute favorite pair of earrings were infecting her ears. Now, I'm no stranger to suffering for fashion's sake, but if you can avoid it then why not take advantage?

That's why I've decided to include a section for those little fashion fixes that can stump even the most worldly of fashionistas in their tracks. I hope these little pearls of wisdom will help you as they have helped me in the past. Some of these tips I've read, some were given to me by very dear friends and some are based on my own personal trial and error...and now I'm letting all my favorite readers in on these itty bitty secrets that can save you from fashion flaws and fails :)

The Sitch: Now back to the earring conundrum: with today's earrings often made from materials that don't mesh with our delicate skin, it's common for most girls to have a negative reaction to silver, nickel, stainless steel, etc. When times like this arise there's no need to live in agony or toss you're beloved pair... 

The Fix: Clear nail polish! Not only does this magical liquid stop a run in your tights dead on and faster than a speeding bullet (that lil' tip was a freebie ;) but by swiping a small amount over the areas that come in contact with your skin and it will create a thin barrier of protection from infection :) Just apply and dry. No more pain or frustration!
