So it's been a while since I got to post. I can't believe it's already November! This year seems to be flying by quicker than ever. It has certainly been a busy one however :) Today I was running around and running errands so I was all about the comfort zone. There is something to be said for the perfect blend of cozy meets chic. It's a fine line that I am trying to hone this season.
So I found this crazy awesome top at Charlotte Russe for $18 and I knew immediately I had to have it. I promise to post a better pic of the front of it but the back is so lovely and dramatic that I had to feature it! You can't really tell but up close there are light colored lavender swatches of color that look like they have been brushed on the fabric. I showed it to my friend Lindsay and her immediate response was "Oooooh, so Alexis!!!" HAha. I guess it's a good thing when people can associate you with a type of style ;)
I also picked up these earrings in a shop on Broadway called Necessary Objects and they were only a $1.99. My friend Sarah has a pair just like them that I have always coveted so it was an obvious no-brainer. I'm already wearing them like crazazy!
- Dark denim Levi skinny jeans (O.M.G....$55...so old, so worn in, so perfect)
- Purple strap cowl-back top (Charlotte Russe...$18.99)
- Gray open v-neck hoodie (Forever 21...$18...this cozy piece was my bff in South Africa!)
- Brown In-Step boots (South Africa)
- Leather Jacket (De-Janiero...$20 magical little dollars. I swear this little jacket has got a built in heater!!!)
- Silver Dangle earrings (Necessary Objects...$1.99...couldn't afford not to get them!)
