P is for Pleather...That's right, as in leather's less-expensive best frend ;). ln it's defense, however, this material may seem like it just doesn't measure up, but in all honestly it's equally as fierce and for a fraction of the price!
I remember when I first fell head over heels for pleather...it was a little over a year and a half ago, before pleather leggings were all the rage, and I was in desperate pursuit of finding a pair...(and this was, again, before you could throw a cat in a store and it would land on a pile of them in a variety of colors and textures)...anyway, because the trend had yet to hit, the only pair I could find was from American Apparel for $40
(above right hand corner pic)...I wrestled with the cost, I argued it in my head, and then I justified it and happily went on to buy my black cracked, snakeskin pleather pants that I just can't seem to get eno
ugh of. Whenever I'm feeling like I need just a hint of sass, I just slip on these bad boys, some heavy dark kohl eyeliner, and an airy t-shirt and voila...instant rock star glam... word to the wise,however, b
ecause it is such a strong statement, I would ease up on the heavy accesories, this material stands out all on its own...
