This weekend (at Camp Bisco 2009) I wore...

Well folks, I am back from my weekend away at Camp Bisco and all I can say...

is that it was truly a MAGICAL event, even despite the fact that it rained probably about 75% of the time!
Yet every true fashionista knows the importance of coming prepared!!! My girl Kara and I planned our outfits and checked the weather patterns at least a week before to get an idea of what would be the most comfy camp-worthy! Not to mention that face that I absolutely adore packing for trips, vacations, get-aways, you name it, I love it!

(My husband and many of my friends think I am absolutely mad, but I guarantee you, there are readers out there with the same affliction).

I like to visualize the outfits I'll be wearing before I go on vacation so I can think ahead, then I just try to pack smart. I like to bring three to four pairs of shoes max, along with pieces that I can mix and match depending on the weather or the occasion. Dresses are also a simple and easy, breazy way to pack light and don't require too much thought when choosing an outfit.

Now knowing this about me, you can understand why the second we entered the gates of Camp Bisco to a torrential downpour, I was ready in hand with my galoshes in less than 10 seconds flat!

(I pretty much ended up sporting these bad boys for most of the weekend, but funny enough, I don't think they were the worst fashion faux-pas of 2009..or Camp Bisco...)
