Today (May 8th, 2009) I'm wearing...

Another Friday has finally rolled around and it's just in time because this week has been hella busy!!! It's not particularly sunny but the temperature is finally in the late 60's so I figured some skirt action was in order. I wanted to look classy/ sophisticated for work but also a tad bit tongue and cheek so I rifled through my socks and leggings and found my knee-high scalloped socks ( I seriously have waaaay too much black in my wardrobe but I think the dark sock fit for a polished overall effect :) This skirt is from H&M a couple of seasons ago. It's a bit more prim than my everyday style but every girl needs that perfect and chic audition/ interview skirt that can either be dressed up or down. It was a very engenue ensaemble...

After work however, was a different story. We are having some friends over for a cocktail/ game night party and to comemorate the homecoming of Rex ( my AWESOME pet Beta fish!!!), I decided to with to do it up with an all- blue pallete to match Rex (He's not very photogenic for a fish with so much star quality but you can see him off to the sid ein the photo... :P)

Day:
  • Black skirt with black button detailing (H&M...$34)
  • Blue cornflower blue 3/4 length sleeve tee (Don't remember)
  • Black scalloped knee-high socks ( H&M...$5)

Game nite:
  • Blue & white pinstripe sailor shorts (Forever 21...$19)

  • Blue Star necklace from Tiffany's (gift from my rents on my last b-day :)
