Plus, I was on my way to one of my favorite places...the Goodwill! I always want to wear something in a thrift store that isn't restrictive in case I want to try something on quickly. I'm a huge advocate of trying on the clothes before you buy thrifted just to make sure fabrics haven't stretched despite what size the tag may say. And I try to wear shoes I can slip on and off easily because thrift stores often have AMAZING vintage shoes for a mere fraction of the original cost. I know, I know, some of you may have a serious problem with reused/ recycled clothes and shoes but all I have to say is this: I have a pair of vintage cerealian blue 9 West heels with the original label that I bought thrifted for $8!!!!!!! If you're still not a believer, I ended up buying a brand new Bebe mini skirt today for $10 that my friend payed $60 for!!! I rest my case....;)
- White tank top (Forever 21...$2.50)
- Silver dangling feather earrings (Forever 21...$4.80)
- White trapeze shoulder cut-out tee (Strawberry...$11...wish I had bought it a size up in hindsight but I love the cut-outs and the way it flows!)
- Blakc cargo pants (I bought these at some beach shop in South Beach and I wish I had now bought a pair of them in every color! I spent $15 and they haves lasted 2 years but are made from a light material. I also love the fact that you can tie them to change the length. I was feeling the capri look today...)
- Gray tennis wedges (Strawberry...$30)
- Steven Allen jacket (bought on sale)
- 80's sunglasses (Forever 21...$5.50...so bright and pink and obnoxious...I had to have them!!! Also I love that you can't see where I'm looking when I wear them...like FBI sunglasses...sooo cool...)
Love that shirt, AND those sunglasses! Very chic my dear.
