Thank god it’s Thursday!!!! Just one more day until the weekend :) Later this evening I am going to see a co-worker’s band perform live and I wasn’t sure if I would be able to head home later to change, and being the unfussy, all-occasions girl I am when it comes to clothes and comfort I opted for all-day edgy and chic.
First stop on the agenda: a full day of work. I wanted to be right on the line when it comes to looking awesome but also “office-ready”, luckily working in media for an ad agency allows me a lot of fashion freedom. I went with flat boots and opaque tights to offset the pleather mini and a solid black cardigan to for some extra coverage.
Next stop: hanging with the girls, pre-partying and then show. (Which was monumental for the fact that I met one of the band memebers form 'The Bravery'...and I looked good doing it!)

- Gray burnout pattern tee (Forever 21)… Just sheer enough for fun but loose and flowy for the office
- Black pleather mini skirt (Forever 21)…Soooo cool, at first I wasn’t sure I could rock this in the office, but after playing with some textures and different lengths, it’s all good!
- Black cardigan (H&M …my flawless dress-it-up or dress-it-down item)
- Dark Brown bondage boots (a gift from my super cool Mom! They have jsut the right-sized heel)
